2009 I better get cracking!
Another year gone by now, and I love having a website full of pictures to look at to look back at what I did this year. I feel like I don’t really do much other then work, but when I look at each months photos then I know I did a lot more then most people ever do! This past year seemed slow on the traveling, but I had some new things to through me for a loop, like being married and moving to “OUR” place now. Made some new friends but also haven’t talked to some old friends and family as much. Well with 2009 now starting off what will I do different to make the best of this year? For one I thought I might try doing a “Picture a Day” again. So far only about 10 days into it but I haven’t missed a day yet. Now of course if you don’t understand what I am talking about, that means I must take a new picture everyday and then post it to my new 2009 gallery. You can see the new gallery here 2009
We started the year off right this time though, on vaction in Moab! My sister and her family came with us to enjoy the winter temperatures, and sunny weather. Even though it was cold we still got in some good hikes even did some after the sun went down. I did have a picture in my head that I have been wanting to take at Aztec Butte at night. Al and I drove up there new years day at 9pm and when we got there I checked my lantern that I need for this night shot and the batteries were dead!!! 40 mile drive one way for nothing! We at least hiked to Mesa Arch in the dark and had a good hike. Not so good with the pictures there though.
